As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Uyo Branch Human Rights Committee, led by Vice Chairman and Chairman Human Rights Committee, Angela Mick-Akpabio, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Controller of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Akwa Ibom State Command.

The visit highlighted the importance of synergy between the legal community and stakeholders in the administration of criminal justice in Nigeria.
