MIDWEST BAR FORUM INAUGURATES NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Midwest Bar Forum of the Nigerian Bar Association has officially inaugurated a new set of executive officers following the Forum’s general meeting held on Friday, 8th November 2025, in Asaba, Delta State.
The newly elected Executive Committee is ably led by Chief Ama Etuwewe, SAN, a distinguished legal luminary from the Warri Branch.
Their emergence marks a new chapter of unity, progress, and purposeful leadership within the Forum as they take up the mandate to reposition and strengthen the voice of the Bar across the Midwest region.
Below are the members of the newly inaugurated Executive Committee:
1. Chairman: Chief Ama Etuwewe, SAN – Warri Branch
2. 1st Vice Chairman: Dr. Enemhinye Ehigiator – Asaba Branch
3. 2nd Vice Chairman: Beshiru Abiri, Esq. – Auchi Branch
4. Secretary: Ebosele Saturday Okhifoh – Benin Branch
5. Treasurer: Imuwahen O. Edegbe – Benin Branch
6. Publicity Secretary: Lawrence Shegun Ayewa – Udu Branch
7. Financial Secretary: Onome O. Udoro – Ughelli Branch
8. Welfare Secretary: Nelson Osaghaede – Ekpoma Branch
9. Assistant Secretary: Omo Uki Solomon – Igarra Branch
The Forum expressed confidence that this diverse and capable team will build on past achievements while promoting inclusiveness, professional excellence, and the welfare of members.
The meeting also resolved to strengthen collaboration among branches, promote ethical legal practice, and sustain advocacy for better working conditions and judicial reforms within the region.
The Midwest Bar Forum congratulates the new executives and wishes them a successful tenure of impactful service.
