The  Chairman and Members NBA BORI BRANCH Cordially invites you to her LAW WEEK 2026

 A four days thought provoking program geared towards professional advancement, networking and exposing the strategy of transforming the  practice of law from its traditional practice stage to Digitalised practice as our keynote speakers and other discussans shall be discussing the theme: 

"From Traditional to Transformation: Securing a sustainable Legal Career in Nigeria".

The activities lined up for this year's law week  include: 

DAY 1:

Wednesday 24th day of June 2026 - Health/ Road walk,  sensitization campaign etc. scheduled to hold in Bori by 10:00 am
 
DAY 2:

Thursday 25th day of June 2026 - Ground breaking/ Foundation laying of the Ledum Mitee Bar Auditorium at NBA Permanent Secretariat Bori by 10:00 am

DAY 3:

Friday 26th day of June 2026 - Plenary Session featuring  Prof. Nlerum Okogbule (Former VC-Rivers State University) as the key note speaker on the lead paper:

Navigating and succeeding in Nigerian's  evolving Legal System: Strategies for Digital Age

Venue:  Nulge Consolate Port Harcourt, Moscow Road  

DAY 4:

Sunday 28th day of June 2026 - Thanksgiving Service
Time: 10:00 am

We invite all members of the Bar, Bench, legal Practitioners, young lawyers, Fida, women lawyers forum, law students and distinguished guest to join us as we take on this thought provoking discuss, embracing innovation and reshape the practice of law in Nigeria.

[Leaked] Uyo Branch Elections: Treasure Okey, Esq., Shames Eno-Obong Akpan-Led Eleco as Eleco Secretary, Ubong Offiong, Qualifed an Unqualified Colleague in His Office In her words: "A PETITION AGAINST ELECTORAL COMMITTEE , UYO BRANCH FOR QUALIFYING AN UNQUALIFIED CANDIDATE: ...that it took several applications from the members of the Branch asking them (Eno-Obong Akpan and Ubong Offiong -Led Eleco) to release the nominators; they finally did so on 25th May, 2025....That the attitude of the electoral committee in releasing the candidate without their nominators at first instance raises a doubt and then releasing same after seven(7) days window to appeal raises more doubt..."
