Meti Monday Ukpeh Pays Courtesy visit to NBA Effurun Branch, Applauds the Branch’s Active Bar Engagement
Former YLF Chairman of the NBA Uyo Branch, Meti Monday Ukpeh, who is also the founder of the Nigeria Legal Digest, and the first converner of the NBA Voter's Meet (a Platform that engages NBA national office aspirants on their plans for Nigerian lawyers) between 2021 till 2025 paid a visit to the Nigerian Bar Association Effurun Branch, where he commended the branch for its active participation in the affairs of the Nigerian Bar and its continued commitment to strengthening professional engagement among lawyers.
Speaking during the visit, Ukpeh acknowledged the Effurun Branch as one of the most vibrant branches of the Nigeria Bar association, noting that its regular meetings and professional activities continue to provide a platform for lawyers to interact, share knowledge, and remain connected to the evolving dynamics of legal practice.
He observed that active branch engagement remains an essential component of a strong legal profession, as it encourages collaboration among practitioners and promotes continuous professional development.
Ukpeh further noted that gatherings of the Bar memebers create opportunities for lawyers to deliberate on emerging issues in legal practice while reinforcing the ethical standards and responsibilities that guide the profession.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the NBA Effurun Branch for the warm reception extended to him during his visit and emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation within the Bar to advance the ideals of justice and professionalism in the legal community.
